Parking The portico entrance behind the church is convenient to the parking garage on 6th Street and Capitol Avenue, as well as to the church parking lot and the Federal Government Court Complex spaces that are available to us on Sundays. There are twenty-four spaces in the lot behind the church. There are twelve government spaces adjoining our parking lot behind the church, along the rear of the court complex, which may be used on Sundays during church services. They are numbered on the east, 29 - 34 and on the west, 41 - 46. The spaces numbered 29 through 34 are best for compact cars. Parking garage (FREE on Sundays) entrance is on 6th Street; the garage stairs are located in the corner that is closest to the rear/ portico entrance of the church. Our Location First Presbyterian Church is located on the corner of East Capitol Avenue and South 7th Street, across from the main city library and two blocks northwest of the Lincoln Home National Historic Site. Our main entrance for Sundays and special events is through two arched red doors on 7th Street. Ramped entrance from the garden on 7th Street. The church business office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Direct access to the church office during the week is from the ramp near the Capitol Avenue side. Driving
